Privacy Policy
The short version: no accounts, no tracking cookies, and we never sell your data.
01Who we are
Best FPL Transfers (bestfpltransfers.com) is responsible for your personal data under UK data protection law. You can reach us any time with the link at the bottom of every page.
02Your FPL Team ID
When you enter a Team ID, we use it to fetch that team's public data from the official Fantasy Premier League API, such as the squad, team and manager name, points, rank and transfer history. We use this only to produce your results.
We don't keep a database of teams or managers. Results are held in short-lived caches (up to 12 hours) so repeat visits load faster, and our error logs can record a Team ID when a request fails.
03What stays in your browser
We remember the last Team ID you used in your browser's local storage, so you don't have to retype it. It stays on your device and you can remove it at any time by clearing this site's data in your browser settings.
04Analytics
We use Vercel Web Analytics to count visits. It doesn't use cookies and doesn't identify you; we see only totals such as page views, referring sites, countries and device types.
05AI-written text
Some short verdicts and transfer reasons are written by an AI model from Groq. We send it only player names, positions and our ratings. We never send your name, team name or Team ID.
06If you email us
We receive your email address and message, use them only to reply, and keep them only as long as needed for that.
07Services we rely on
- Vercel: hosts the website and provides analytics.
- Render: hosts the server that fetches FPL data.
- Groq: writes AI text, as described above.
- Google Fonts: serves the site's fonts, so your browser connects to Google, which sees your IP address.
Like any website, these providers process technical data such as IP addresses to deliver and secure the service. Some are based outside the UK, including in the United States, and transfers rely on safeguards recognised under UK law.
08What we don’t do
- No accounts, passwords or payments.
- No advertising or tracking cookies. We don't set cookies at all.
- We never sell your data or share it for marketing.
09Why we’re allowed to use it
We rely on legitimate interests: running a free tool you've asked to use, keeping it secure, and replying when you contact us.
10Your rights
You can ask to access, correct or delete your personal data, or object to how we use it, by emailing us. Because we don't keep a database of users, there is often little or nothing to return. If you're unhappy with how we've handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
11Children
The site isn't aimed at children under 13.
12Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle data, we'll update this page and the date at the top.
