How FPL Price Changes Work
Fantasy Premier League player prices change once per day, typically between 1:00 AM and 3:00 AM UK time. Price movements are driven by transfer activity — when enough managers transfer a player in, their price rises by £0.1m, and when enough managers transfer a player out, their price falls by £0.1m.
The exact thresholds are dynamic and depend on the player's current ownership percentage and the stage of the season. Generally, a player needs approximately 15,000+ net transfers in for a price rise, while falls are triggered when around 1.2% of a player's owners transfer them out.
Our predictions use live data from the official FPL API to track transfer velocity and estimate which players are closest to the price change thresholds. Players marked with a Tonight badge have the highest probability of changing price during the next update.
